Trip Overview
See the world’s third-largest peak up close on this challenging 21-day trek along Nepal’s famous Kanchenjunga Circuit. Kanchenjunga is least visited of all in the fast east Nepal. There are now newly build simple tea houses available along the trail.
Spend some time exploring the capital of Kathmandu, then make your way deep into the soaring Himalaya to set off on foot from Taplejung. With few crowds and endless spectacular scenery, you’ll trek between rustic teahouses as you make your way to the North and South Kanchenjunga Base Camps—reaching a dizzying altitude of 16,863 feet (5,140 m).
- Complete the rugged & remote Kanchenjunga Circuit Trek
- Take in breathtaking views of the Himalaya’s highest peaks
- Stay in rustic teahouses & inns en route
- Discover the rich culture & mountain lifestyle of the local Sherpa & Bhotia people
