LANGTANG AND GOSAIKUNDA TREK

It’s been a 14 days trek, rather challenging for both me and my partner as neighter of us did this before. Although it was worth is. The landscape was breathtaking. Our guide, Keshab, was very helpful and we rearranged our itinerary so we don’t go over our bodily limits. Thant was nice and made it even more enjoyable.

A DREAM COME TRUE 

Since I was 11 years old I had the dream of trekking through to Everest Base Camp and finally at the age og 60 I did the EBC trek in november 2019.
Thanks to Responsible Treks and especially the extremely freindly, experienced and highly skilled guide Rikzin Lama, I had an out of this world beautiful and challenging experience.
I give Responsible Treks my best recommendtions.

Great first experience in Nepal!

The team of Responsible Treks is really welcoming and they can help you with your doubts and requests when visiting Nepal. I would definitely recommend them, especially cause I am already considering them for my following trips to Nepal.

From the initial briefing to our return, Responsible listened and ensured our trek was enjoyable and fun. We wanted quiet, unspoilt countryside with great hikes and views. We had all this and more. Sonam made sure that we were happy with plans and was very entertaining! He tweaked treks and made sure we were well fed and watered.
He even managed to arrange an amazing birthday cake high up!

Narphu and Annapurna Circuit , a positive Experience

My girlfriend and I combined the Nar and Phu valleys with the classic Annapurna Circuit (including Tilicho Lake) via a custom 17-day itinerary with Responsible Treks.

Basically, we had an enjoyable and successful trip, and we recommend this company. They delivered on their promises, offered a reasonable price, and even sent our extra luggage from Kathmandu to our lodging in Pokhara free of charge.

Many thanks for an adventure of a lifetime with my father. From the wonderful garden of Rokpa Guest House with the loveliest young people doing their utmost to keep all guests happy to an out of this world 6-day trek up to 3900m. Led by two young gentlemen who made this person with a fear of heights often forget her fear and concentrate on the beautiful mountains. Pokhara Community Trek

Amazing. The best trek I have ever been on (Compared to other treks I have done in Nepal already, Bolivia, and Europe).

Our guide was Sonam. He was amazing and planned a perfect trek for myself and my parents who came to see me in Nepal. We had two porters, one was local and the other was doing his degree in tourism. This was great as it meant we were supporting the local community and rising enthusiasts in the Nepal tourism world. They were so friendly and a great asset to our small team.

The trekking was beautiful – we weaved in and out of different villages. Danced and celebrated Tihar. Played cards and drank local raaski (optional). Saw the Himalayas and took lots of wonderful photos. Ate amazing food and played basketball in the evenings.

Sonam, the best guide in the mountains, adapted our trek so that it suited us perfectly. Overall amazing experience!

I cannot say enough about how professional, efficient, personable, and thorough the team at Responsible Treks was.
I consider myself a low-maintenance traveler, so I was not used to having such a highly attentive team. But I’m grateful for it. They took care of every detail, leaving my focus only on soaking in the scenery, history, culture, and terrain of one of the most beautiful countries on earth.
Kunchok guided me through selecting a trek and preparing for it. He was responsive to every question and upfront with all the details we would need to know. He met us as we arrived at our hotel and ensured that we were briefed in person on the timeline and the details of the trek.
I had selected the short Dhampus Trek with my brother. Our guide in the mountains was Dawa. He was phenomenal—entirely professional and highly knowledgeable. And we felt as though he were a close friend by the end of the trek. He helped us navigate cultural nuances as well as fully explained all stretches of the trek to us. He left both of us wanting to return and trek again with him one day.
Rajive was our guide for a day in Kathmandu, and we were left feeling like we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He asked us about our timeline and our interests, and then he made tailored suggestions to us that allowed us to see both the major Kathmandu sites as well as some off-the-beaten-path sites that allowed us to feel as though we’d been given a private view into the true vibe of that culturally rich city.
At an incredibly reasonable price, Responsible Treks seamlessly took us from A to Z along our trip, and left us feeling beyond satisfied. I highly recommend this team.

I cannot say enough about the awesome Nepal trek we recently competed that was booked through KimKim with Responsible Treks. From our first interactions, KimKim identified the type of trip we were interested in, the specific dates we were available and matched us with a trekking company and a trek that fit our skill level and expectations.

The trip itself exceeded our expectations on all fronts. The communications we received via KimKim’s platform helped us plan our trip, get a great sense of what to expect each day, and to pack accordingly. The information and communications we received on the front end alleviated any trip anxiety we may have had. Chhewang, our trip organizer with Responsible Treks, met us at the airport in Kathmandu and rode with us to our hotel where we met with our trek guide, Sonam. We discussed the trek and generally what to expect. Our trek started the next morning where we met our porter, Chhiring T. Over the course of our trek, whether in airports, check points, tea houses or lodges Sonam and Chhiring T took care of us and ensured we had the best trek possible. Upon our return to Kathmandu we met for dinner with our trip organizer Chhewang from Responsible Treks and our trekking crew for a traditional Nepalese dinner – an awesome ending to our trip. We were picked up the next day and escorted to the airport for our flights home.

Again, we had a great trip and trek and no detail was left to chance – the KimKim platform and team matched us up with exactly what we were looking for in a trip and Responsible Treks and their team took care of us and ensured our trip was a success.

We contacted responsible treks from a previous customer who was living in Kathmandu and had a great experience with this agency,
4 friends and myself, from the Bask Country in Spain agreed with them to go for the Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) trek, a journey that would last 11 days. The price was quite reasonable -even with 3 porters- but it was specially remarkable the professional and friendly approach of Sonam, from the agency who took care of us during the complete period, from our arrival to Kathmandu until we left the country. He really did a great job hosting us with the closeness that you can hardly find in other cultures.
All of it, unbeatable experience with him and his team: Great country, excellent people and highly recommendable agency.
You might find something similar, but I would be surprised if it is better!

From start to finish my tour organised by Chhewang was seamless and for me effortless. I was very well looked after by my guide Keshab and can’t thank him enough. The responsible trek team communicated everything clearly and consistently where I never felt a worry or not looked after. The trek itself was created and catered specifically to my wishes and the time I had available. I loved every experience, and was lucky to observe many cultural customs as it was the time of the festival.

It was my first time river rafting and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The guides were very helpful and polite. Rafting is a must to do activity when you come to Nepal.
