Liability
Responsible Treks Pvt. Ltd. is an adventure travel company and, under no circumstances, is responsible or liable for any unforeseen situations such as accidents, damage, loss, delay, inconvenience, personal injury or illness, excess luggage charges, losses incurred due to rerouting, inclement weather, floods, political disruptions, strikes, riots and other disturbances that result in personal expenditure.
Participants in our trips assume all such risks and hereby release Responsible Treks, its ground suppliers, agents, and guides from all claims and causes of action arising from any damages, injuries, or death resulting from these risks inherent in travel, visiting foreign destinations, and participating in adventurous activities as included in our tour itineraries.
Complains
If any complaints arise, they must be addressed before departure
Price
Prices are valid as mentioned in the offer. Responsible Treks reserves the right to change prices due to significant increases in costs caused by changes in foreign currency rates, local taxes or permits, local price levels, or due to government measures.
Insurance
All staff members at Responsible Treks are insured. We strongly recommend that all tour and trek participants obtain personal insurance that covers accidents, health, emergency evacuation, and loss or damage to personal effects. If you do not have insurance, you must accept responsibility for covering all medical expenses and the costs of transport to a medical facility.
Payment and refund policy
Confirmation of your booking
To confirm your booking, a 20% deposit is typically required. However, the deposit amount may be adjusted by your tour manager to meet the specific requirements of your trip. Once the deposit is received, we will proceed with confirmations for hotels, transfers, and activities. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable.
Your final payment
The final payment is typically due one month prior to the start of your trip, although this date may be adjusted by your Tour Manager. For departures within a month or less, full payment is required at the time of booking, and all payments will be non-refundable.
Note:
Credit card payments incur an additional 3.5% fee. We accept payments only from the traveler’s account. We reserve the right to refuse certain forms of payment. Wire transfer fees must be covered by the traveler.
Privacy Policy
Responsible Treks understands the importance of your privacy and is committed to protecting it. When you purchase services from us or contact us, we use the information to correctly process your requests and to improve our understanding of customer needs.
Responsible treks stores email addresses, passport numbers, phone numbers, and physical addresses when you do business with us or contact us. We use this information to process orders and may contact you when we have new products that may interest you. We do not sell, give away, or distribute email addresses, physical addresses, or phone/mobile numbers.
Payment for orders is handled through our bank and credit card merchant accounts. No credit card details (such as credit card numbers or expiration dates) are ever stored by Responsible Treks.
Cookie/Tracking Technology
Our site may use cookies and tracking technology to gather information such as browser type, operating system, the number of visitors, and how visitors use the site. Cookies and tracking technology do not collect personal information; however, if you previously provided personally identifiable information, cookies may be tied to it. Aggregate cookie and tracking information may be shared with third parties.
