Helambu is the most accessible trekking region in Nepal, where you can experience some of the most beautiful semi tropical valley, Helambu peaks, the magnificent Jugal Himal and the vivid contrast of Hindu and Tibetan Buddhist cultures.

Helambu region is also known as Beyul. Hyolmo in Nyingma Buddhist tradition is considered as a sacred landscape blessed by Guru Padmasambhava.

In an effort to revive tourism, we now are offering this trip. Not only is still a beautiful trek, your visit will also provide vital support for local livelihoods.

The goal of the “Climate Trek Nepal” initiative is to rebuild after the severe earthquakes in 2015 and promote sustainable tourism within the country.

The trip uses renewable energies as well as other technologies and behaviors that save resources a reality.


  • Due to its proximity to Kathmandu, the Helambu trek can be reached quickly without flying.

Day 1 Drive to Pati Bhanjyang & trek to Chipling (2170m/7344 ft) Drive: 1 hour,
Trek: 4 hours
Day 2 Trek from Chipling to Kutumsang (2446m/8022ft) 5 hours
Day 3 Trek from Kutumsang to Thare pati (3650m/11972ft) 6 hours
Day 4 Trek to Melamchigaon (2.560m/8.399ft) 3 hours
Day 5 Trek to Tarkeghyang (2560m/8397ft) 4.5 hours
Day 6 Climb Ama Yangri (3.740m/11.286ft) 4-5 hours
Day 7 Trek to Sermathang (2,610m/8,563ft) 3/4 hr
Day 8 Trek to Malemchi Puul Bazaar   Drive to Kathmandu:
